Eldersburg, MD Day to Day:Provide reconciliations for balance sheet and expense accountsAllocate expenses for the different entities and departmentsPrepare bank reconciliationsAssist with preparing month and year-end closeAssist with resolving any discrepancies or accounting issuesAssist with journal entries and account analysisOrganize work files and documentsInteract with outside auditors and accountantsAssist with year-end tax filings, as neededProcess PayrollFile quarterly Federal and State Payroll TaxesWhat You Need for this PositionThe ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors Degree in Accounting,4 years experience of accounting in constructionMust be proficient with general ledger software and Microsoft Office,Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to multi-task on a daily basisExcellent communication skills and attention to detail, and strong customer service skillsPowered by JazzHR
