This position is looking for someone who is able to work fully onsite in Titusville, FL. This position is looking for someone who is a seasoned mechanical engineer with strong panel layout drawing experience experience. The max compensation for this position is roughly $120k/yr and this is a direct hire full-time position. Specific Responsibilities: Create control/power equipment panel layout drawings and control/power enclosure assembly drawings using 3D modeling software Develops current and forecast weight, balance, and mass properties data Participates in defining weight, balance, and mass properties related design requirements Participates in developing customer specification requirements Support individual design team weight control efforts Estimates, calculates, and measures, and verifies mass, weight, stiffness, and inertias of components, assemblies, and completed vehicles or systems Participates in developing and maintaining weight, balance, and mass properties accounting systems. Generates weight and balance reports. Participates in developing and implementing new processes and tools Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering. Not required if experience is in excess of 10 years Experience with CAD and CAE 3D modeling software (Solidworks or OnShape preferred) Experience estimating mass properties from drawings, CAD models, and mass property manuals CAD modeling experience, preferably CATIA Good communications and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment Experience with space rated systems is a plus Powered by JazzHR
