Essential Functions and Responsibilities Collaborate on and coordinate strategic growth plan efforts with office managers and practice leaders Grow our water/wastewater market presence in the area through marketing and business development Manage the financial budget for the section and allocate resources accordingly Lead and contribute to the production of proposals and marketing tools Serve as a technical resource to project managers and technical staff Establish staffing needs for the section Interview and hire staff for the section Perform performance reviews for staff based on input from project managers on assigned teams Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities Perform other related duties as assigned Required Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited program Professional Engineer License or equivalent 15+ years’ experience in specialized discipline Project management and business development experience Preferred Experience Experience working with local clients (PWSA, ALCOSAN, Erie Water Works, Cleveland Water Department, etc.) and at the county and state level Staff supervisory experience Working Conditions Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
