Wanted Line Cook Part Time Saute' Cook Part Time A busy Country Club in Sun City Center, Florida Convenient to Bradenton, St. Petersburg, Apollo Beach, Ruskin, Riverview and south Tampa areas. Some weekends and holidays required. No late hours normally out before 8:30 p.m. Competitive Hourly Rate depending on experience. A creative, self-motivated, reliable person who has the desire to produce high-quality food in a great atmosphere. Someone who interacts well with members & kitchen staff and at least 1 year country club or restaurant line experience. Responsibilities include: * Work quickly and independently on the line. * Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. * Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. weigh, measure, and mix ingredients. * Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. * Prepare cold foods. * Operate ovens, stoves, grills, and fryers. * Set-up and break down work station. * Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment. Must Pass a Background Check Physical Factors: Must be able to stand and walk for up to five (5) hours without sitting Clubs operate seven days per week. May be required to work weekends, holidays and overtime. Be able to bend, stoop, climb, and stand for up to five (5) hours without sitting. Be able to handle, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds of weight from storage areas to service areas with or without a hand dolly.
