Senior Accountant will be a key member of the Accounting team helping to drive significant growth in this PE backed global IT integration company approaching $1B+ in revenue. Looking for a professional with strong accounting skills seeking continued professional challenges with plenty of growth opportunities. What part will you play? The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the accounting department in executing a timely month end close process. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries and supporting schedules, reconciling assigned GL accounts, and performing P&L review over various expense accounts. The Senior Accountant will assist in implementing controls and procedures to help mitigate areas of risk. Additionally, The Senior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with compiling work papers and documents for external audits as needed. What will you be doing? The job responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include the following: * Responsible for month-end, quarter end, and year end close procedures (account reconciliations and roll forward schedules) and own the consolidation process. * Responsible for financial reporting related to projects. * Ensure financials are in accordance with GAAP. * Provide support for the preparation of audited annual financial statements and PBCs. * Assist with internal management financial statement preparation and reporting. * Key contributor to ERP upgrades and improvements. * Assist in monthly/quarterly balance sheet and income statement flux variance analysis for management reporting. * Develop, implement and maintain key policies and procedures. * Identify and implement process improvements, systems integrations, etc. for greater accuracy, financial control, and efficiency. * Support other groups with ad hoc analysis as required. What do we require from you? * 5+ years of experience as a Staff + Sr GL Accountant at a high growth company. * Superior analytical and modeling skills including advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to quickly manipulate and analyze large data sets and build reports. * Strong experience with ERPs, Microsoft D-365 preferred * Experience working with International subsidiaries preferred. * An aptitude for learning and managing ERP data structures and reporting capabilities. * Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. * A high level of independence, accountability, teamwork, good judgement and attention to detail in a fast paced & rapidly changing environment. * BA/BS Degree in Accounting required * CPA strongly preferred But wait, there's more! * Collaborative work environment with dynamic growth opportunities * Committed to the career development and education of our team * Comprehensive competitive benefits package * #2314 Inc.
