Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Network Engineer in Aliso Viejo, CA to provide robust, low latency streaming srvcs. Req's Master's in CS, Comp. Networking, or rel. field or equiv, & 2 yrs exp dvlpng policies, procedures & tchncl reports associated w/ operating & maintaining global networks. Prior exp must incl 2 yrs exp leveraging networking tools to identify & mitigate network anomalies; analyzing app data & traffic flow data to identify & improve sub-optimal network behaviors; dvlpng & supporting mid- to long-term solutions for advanced global IP network; interacting w/ external parties to negotiate & turn up BGP peering to grow network infrastructure; working w/ SRE & Dvlpmt teams to build & operate highly available, high-performance infrastructure; interfacing w/ line providers to dsgn, order, install & maintain dark fiber, metro connect, & IP-srvc links; & in executing duties, utilizing TCP/IP, Ethernet, IP Addressing/Subnetting, VLANs, service provider IGP implementations, backbone & edge routing policy, networking syst's, protocols, routers, switches, load balancers & WAN technologies, Python, Linux, layer 2 & layer 3 switches.
