DFA OIS Assistant Administrator Position #22080191Closing Date: 2/24/20Grade: IT10Salary: Salary range $89,541 up to $129,835Position is responsible for assessing agency data processing needs. Evaluate the capacity & capabilities of the existing data processing system. Develops & implements operating standards, policy, & procedures to ensure system integrity, security, & adherence to agency policy. Negotiates & develops vendor contracts. Minimum Qualifications:The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; Plus 6 years of progressively more responsible experience in applications development, operations, database management, systems support or a related area, including 3 years in a professional managerial or supervisory capacity. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review & approval by the Office of Personnel Management. Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of the basic requirements upon approval of the Qualifications Review Committee.Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 10 years' progressive experience in an enterprise environment implementing ITSM principles & practices that include IT services support in the areas of core networking, cybersecurity, helpdesk, & desktop support; Demonstrated understanding of NIST or CIS frameworks, & the implementation of controls to ensure the effective & secure operations of an enterprise network; Advance knowledge of TCP/IP enterprise networking with documented experience in both LAN and WAN management & troubleshooting.
