This position is an excellent opportunity to become a member of a strong technical team administering enterprise level technologies with potential for career growth. The Senior Systems Administrator manages critical tier applications in addition to server and network resources, including specialty systems and ancillary systems. This position is responsible for developing processes and standards that improve overall efficiencies and systems performance. The Senior Systems Administrator is project-oriented and works well in a team-oriented environment. Essential Job Functions : Provides a leading role in network and server management; including switches, routers and security systems. Project-oriented and works well unsupervised. Manages Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange Server and many other enterprise applications. Systems implementation, administration and ongoing support. Responsible for coordinating with vendor support regarding specialty systems, including nurse call, access control and surveillance camera systems Provides hardware and software support for the organization's PCs, peripherals, network attached devices and provides support for organization's telephone, voicemail and fax systems EUC - End User Computing administration skills such as RDS, Citrix and VDI are desirable. Knowledge and Skills: This position requires strong application and Windows operating systems experience along knowledge of TCP/IP and server software including Exchange Server and SQL. Strong network and application troubleshooting skills are required. This position also requires good communication skills in the English language. Excellent customer service skills along with the ability to manage time efficiently. This position must relate well with individuals in a training/education situation and have the ability to learn new procedures, systems and technologies. Compensation: Commensurate upon experience. Educational Requirements: Associates degree in PC Applications, hardware, network management or related field, or equivalent certification and/or experience is required.
