Iowa City Ready Mix, Inc. is hiring full-time Concrete Mixer Drivers, a Dispatcher and a Truck/Shop Mechanic. Our Benefits We offer Competitive pay starting at $22/Hour plus time and a half after 8 hours in a day. Safety Bonus(s) for accident-free worked hours. 7 Paid Holidays. Vacation after the first year (season). Retirement plans offered with up to an 8% Match . Health/Dental/Vision Insurance offered with Single Premiums as low as $ 64/month total for all three (other options available). Health Insurance is on the United Healthcare Choice Plus network, Dental is Delta Dental, and Vision is through Principal VSP. Requirements for Concrete Mixer Drivers Experience is recommended, but not required. Must have valid CDL. Must be familiar with 8-Speed Manual Transmissions. New drivers to start as early as March. Requirements for Concrete Dispatcher Experience with Command Alkon Commandbatch is required. Knowledge of Concrete Batch Plant equipment and operations required. Familiar with Concrete Mixer's. A CDL is not required, but an understanding on how they operate is recommended. Must be personable and professional on the phone and in person. Position available to start immediately upon acceptance. Requirements for Truck Shop Mechanic Must have a basic understanding of trucks and plant maintenance Automotive, electrical and industrial plant maintenance for a ready mixed concrete plant with a fleet of 20 concrete mixers and dump trucks About Iowa City Ready Mix, Inc.
