UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center is looking for a dedicated & creative professional to join our team who provide early childhood education.Assistant Teacher II Position Available (Full Time) Summary: Assists in providing age-appropriate activities and curriculum. Provides a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for the toddlers. Responsibilities: Provides appropriate curriculum and activities for the toddler room. Assists with activities including meals, diapering, and age-appropriate learning activities. Maintains organization and cleanliness of environment. Participates and initiates child and senior interactions in the Intergenerational Program. Assists with communicating to parents daily and uses the communication app to inform parents of daily happenings. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements: Minimum Required Education: Per State of Colorado regulations for Early Childhood Teacher. Required Licensure/Certification: Early Childhood Teacher qualified by State of Colorado child care licensing. Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED certification (including modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR) within 6 months of hire.
