The Willimantic Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of an entry level Police Officer. Applicants must be 21 years of age, have a minimum of a High School diploma or GED, and a valid Connecticut Driver's License in addition to other requirements. A Chip card is recommended and accepted for applicants that obtain a passing grade on the agility test. Applicants without a CHIP card will be required to pass an agility test when scheduled. The Willimantic Police Department offers competitive salaries and an excellent benefit package including a 25 year retirement plan.
