Associate, Software Engineering (200009608) Columbus, OH. Duties: Standardize, automate and document the setup and deployment model to development and production environments, including IT Service Management (ITSM) coordination. Enable Development teams to build and deploy the middleware business service applications from development to testing and production environments using various middleware infrastructure. Serve as DevOps Engineer to deliver solutions to developers and clients in Business Services Middleware space. Responsible for building, configuring, and supporting the tooling and processes needed across the organization with numerous applications, while monitoring the middleware applications. Build proof of concepts (POC’s) for tools for internal use to support DevOps best practices. Make improvements to the build and release scripts, tools, and processes. Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), or related field, plus 2 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, site reliability engineering, programming, systems analysis, systems administration, production support, or related experience; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), or related field, plus 5 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, site reliability engineering, programming, systems analysis, systems administration, production support, or related experience. Skills Required: Must have experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server and Apache Tomcat. Must have experience with GIT and BitBucket version control systems. Must have demonstrated knowledge of Unix/Linux based Operating Systems as well as command-line interface (CLI). Must have experience supporting the on-call for the build environments during the regular on-call rotation. Must have demonstrated knowledge of the process of IT Service Management (ITSM) and change management. Must have experience with Bash Shell scripting in Unix environments. Must have experience in using the Rundeck-ARM tool to configure the Jobs to do changes to server’s configuration using the tool. Must have experience handling the CR and Enterprise release calls as a support to the Environment management. Must have experience in Monitoring the Environments using the Splunk/Dynatrace monitoring tools for the stability of the infrastructure.
