Assistant City Engineer - City of Kentwood The City of Kentwood Engineering Department is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Assistant City Engineer position. The Assistant City Engineer is responsible for performing professional level engineering planning, design and construction oversight on difficult, complex and/or sensitive infrastructure construction; reviews proposals for private development with the City.Qualified applicants will possess all the following:• Michigan Driver's License.• State of Michigan Professional Engineer (PE) License.• Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering, or a field related to the work; And• Five (5) years of professional experience in civil engineering services; Or• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. This is a full-time exempt position with excellent benefits. The hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
