JOB FUNCTION – REQUIREMENTS – SUCCESS FACTORS: Ensure work is done safely per all Safety rules, practices and regulations applicable to the site. Abate immediate risks to Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality and Production within their capabilities. REQUIRES: Engineering degree, or related field from a four-year college or university; plus five to ten years’ experience (preferably in mechanical, electrical field); or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must have the capability of understanding and able to work under pressure. Must be able to deal tactfully and effectively with others. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the emergency procedure of repair, PM, training, maneuver all the equipment, including electricity, water, compressed air, nitrogen, hydrogen, natural gas. Must be for production services, once the demand for the factory production line is received, it must be arranged and processed in a timely manner. If it cannot be completely resolved on duty, there must be temporary measures, and the next day must be completely resolved. Ensure that the company's equipment is operating in a stable and normal condition, to ensure the normal operation of the production line and to provide equipment guarantee for the company's high output and high quality. Formulate equipment maintenance plan, PM plan and spare parts reserve plan. Organize and inspect the maintenance of the equipment, responsible for training of equipment operation. Perform all assigned routines to ensure line performance driving continuous improvement related to Safety, 5’s and cost reduction. Ensure performance of all assigned work scheduled by maintenance supervisor. Identify and report any risks to the plant that jeopardize Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality, Production and Reliability to the best of their knowledge. Any other assignments given by Management as seen fit. Performs all types of work necessary to maintain machinery and equipment,buildings,and all other plant facilities. Transports and works in proximity of hazardous waste, including ESP on Line #1 and 2 and regenerator sulfates. Participates in periodic training. QUALIFICATIONS : Mechanical, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic controls design, installation and maintenance experience Equipment dynamic, kinematic, stress and material specification, design, installation and maintenance experience. Project management skills and/or equivalent experience. Organization, prioritization, writing and verbal skills. Able to effectively use computer tools including, but not limited to: Excel, Word, MS Project, Inventor, Creo (or any other 3-d modeling software) and Auto-cad. Must be able to work with minimal supervision Ability to handle multiple projects. Regularly required to stand, sit, move about facility, climb stairs, bend, twist, kneel, crouch or crawl, use hands and fingers to touch, handle, or feel objects, grasp, push, pull, reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Able to pass Respiratory Protection Program requirements. CONTACT WITH OTHERS: Shift Superintendent – report equipment information as needed as well as offer suggestions on how to improve process or equipment. Shift Supervisor - report equipment information as needed as well as offer suggestions on how to improve process or equipment. Maintenance Supervisor – report on activities completed and needed as well as offer suggestions on how to improve process or equipment. Coordinate on commissioning and maintenance activities as well as improvements to Maintenance processes. Maintenance Project Engineer - report on activities completed and needed as well as offer suggestions on how to improve process or equipment. Production Personnel – communicate on status of equipment and equipment concerns Electronic Technicians – coordinate and communicate on equipment repairs. Financial Department – communicate on project and cost issues Process Engineers – communicate and coordinate on project process and issues. Area Managers – communicate on project progress and issues as they arise. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Plant Environment: exposure to outside conditions, high temperature, some chemicals, noise, vibration and dust that may require personal protective equipment. EQUIPMENT UTILIZED: Uses all maintenance hand tools and power equipment to inspect, lubricate, repair, fabricate, assemble or install any type of equipment or building component.
