Director of Procurement & Materials ManagementEast Penn Manufacturing is currently seeking a Director of Procurement & Materials Management (DPMM). at the East Penn Corporate headquarters in Lyon Station, PA, and will report to the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and Purchasing. The DPMM will lead and direct the inventory, purchasing and supplier development departments, develop and implement materials and selected finished product sourcing strategies that support near-term and long-term business requirements- which result in a sustainable competitive advantage, implement and monitor objectives, policies, and processes for the procurement and materials management functions, and define, evaluate and analyze supplier performance and selection and reviews vendor quality. Ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in strategic procurement and materials management within a manufacturing environment, with 5+ years of managerial experience. Will have experience with procuring raw materials, finished products, packaging, and proven results in achieving savings and efficiencies, as well as experience with setting up procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers and contracts and analytically measuring results. A BS degree in Business Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management, or other related discipline is required, and a Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) and/or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are preferred.
