Specialty Minerals Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Minerals Technologies, Inc. is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician for our Canaan, CT Plant. This position will work under limited supervision to provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and any needed upgrades for the electrical components, processes, equipment, facilities and infrastructure within the Canaan Minteq Facilities. This will also include the knowledge and ability to work on the Sites Main Electrical distribution and infrastructure. Incumbent must be well versed in National Electric Code with advanced electrical skills. The right candidate will also have a strong knowledge of industrial equipment with basic mechanical skills.Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Electrician's License. Formal trade training required.
