Colorado Mountain College-Join Team CMC: Elevating the Vitality of Our Beautiful Rocky Mountain Region!Full-Time Openings: Central Services - Glenwood Springs -Instructional Designer-Budget Finance Analyst-Director of Strategic Initiatives -Director of Development Spring Valley - Glenwood Springs -Technology Support Specialist I Rifle -English FacultyThis full-time faculty position begins in January 2020 with a 30 credit hour teaching load annually.The successful candidate focuses on teaching and inspiring students in English Composition, Literature and Rhetoric. Ideal candidates will be able to teach Communications courses. Courses for this position may include teaching students in local high schools.Teaching responsibilities expected of all faculty include: teaching course load as assigned; evaluating courses and assessing student learning; meeting established course; program and learning outcomes; complying with guidelines and policies; maintaining office hours per established standards; developing rapport with students; assisting with and participating in advising, orientation, and registration activities.CMC Faculty are generally expected to engage in scholarly endeavors and service activities such as: serving on campus and college committees; participating in relevant projects; mentoring peers; advising students and student organizations; recruiting and retention efforts; and service as a source of expertise in their field for local communities.Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to working in a culturally diverse environment and the ability to work effectively with students, employees, vendors and community members having diverse backgrounds.Conversational Spanish language abilities may be preferred. recblid i99murjpkg0t8cu1yk8h035xtwavqz
