Description:

Advanced Equipment is accepting applications for a Field Technician in Lorton, VA. The technician will be responsible for maintenance services on power generation systems and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS). Troubleshoot and diagnose Generator & ATS problems and provide a solution to a specified issue. Must be able to perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs, load banking, retro-fits and upgrades. Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and instructions. Qualifications: Minimum 3-years’ experience in: diesel engines, basic electricity, generator installations, ATS work, maintenance, services, & repairs. Well organized, dependable, valid driver’s license & clean driving record, lift 50lbs or more. Work independently. Keep vehicle clean and well organized, maintain company-issued laptop, willing to travel in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Obtain and maintain certifications from factory training courses paid for by Advanced Equipment (Cummins, Generac, etc). recblid 1co9kkr31mnszhr13su9me6nep1ogd
