Field/Shed Support Workers; Tractor/Truck Driver West Coast Tomato Growers, Inc located in Oceanside, CA, is seeking 50 temporary Field/Shed Support Workers to work w/tomatoes & Brussels sprouts in fields (i.e., plant, prune, top, defoliate, harvest), perform shed activities, & drive tractor/trucks.Contract period: March 1, 2019 through November 17, 2019.Must have 2 months work experience in farm work with tomatoes in fields. Experience include non-harvest activities, specifically planting, staking, pruning, topping & defoliating plants.Wage offered: $13.92 per hour (unless rescinded by court order or other action). Higher or different wage rates may apply during contract period based on market conditions, and/or crop/job activity, but no less than the required wage rate. A discretionary performance bonus may apply. 3/4 of the work hours guaranteed.Tools & equipment provided at no cost to the worker. Free housing is provided to workers who cannot reasonably return to their permanent residence at the end of the work day.
