Experience is preferred, not required. Position Purpose - Responsible for catering sales and marketing for the hotel. Maintains and develops new accounts and generates top line revenue for the hotel. Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions Identifies and solicits new accounts Monitors competitive activity Maintains existing accounts Conducts outside sales calls Achieves monthly revenue booking goals Completes daily/weekly/monthly reports Respond to all guest inquiries and third party meeting leads Work client-related special events Other duties as assigned Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Excellent listening and problem-solving skills Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members Negotiating Skills Strong computer skills Detail oriented Interpersonal Organized Relationship Building Ambition Qualification Standards In-depth knowledge of hotel Catering/Sales Experience Minimum of 3 years in hotel or conference Catering/Sales Education Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred recblid iv8kjcn44ensdz7lqp8h8xobvzdm6n
