Town of Durham Assistant AssessorThe Town of Durham is seeking an experienced (40) hour per week, Assistant Assessor to provide clerical, technical, administrative and office management assistances to the part-time Assessor in the valuation of real and personal property and to collect and process information to establish the Town's Grand List. This position works under the general direction of the Assessor.Qualifications: This position requires a High School Diploma or GED and over three years of related work experience in appraisal offices, legal offices, real estate or related offices. Two years in a municipal assessment office is preferred; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. CCMA certification preferred. Must complete CCMA courses 1A and 1B within two (2) years of hire.
