Engineering Lead: St. Jude Medical in Sylmar, CA seeks a qualified Engineering Lead. Oversee eng activities of med device manufacturing & operations & implement process improvements. Masters in Industrial Engineering, Elec Engineering, Biomed Engineering, or in closely related engineering field with an academic or industrial background in: (i) utilizing testing equipment, including frequency generators, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, signal analyzers, spectrum analyzers, DMM, power suppliers, hipot testers, analog signal generators & data acquisition units; (ii) lean manufacturing techniques, value stream mapping, & continuous improvement methodologies; (iii) regulatory knowledge pertaining to QMS, GMP, EMS, FDA Quality System Regulations 21 CFR 820 (i.e., 21 CFR 820.198 Complaint files, 21 CFR 820.90 Nonconforming product, 21 CFR 820.100 Corrective and Preventive Actions), & ISO 13485 regulations & requirements within manufacturing; (iv) writing protocols & reports detailing new process development & optimization & validation of existing processes; & (v) project management experience involving coordination of cross-functional teams.
