Waste Water Treatment Plant OperatorThe Borough of Sinking Spring is looking to hire a Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator. The Operator will be responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of the 1.65 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant, collection and conveyance system, satellite pump station, maintaining compliance with required regulatory agencies, and monitoring and assisting wastewater personnel. It is preferred that the candidate have a minimum of 3 years direct involvement of treatment plant operations, pump stations, and collection systems. Candidate must possess a current Pennsylvania Class B Operators License, Class E Collection and Conveyance System with Sub Classification 1 (Activated Sludge) and Sub Classification 4(Collection System). A valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver’s License Class B, with the air and tank endorsements or the ability to acquire it within 120 Days, and a clean driving record.
