Actuary: Scor Global Life Americas Reinsurance Company seeks VP Marketing Actuary & Head of Longevity Americas in Charlotte, NC to negotiate complex reinsurance deals on Longevity & Mortality in US mrkt & in Canadian mrkt. Req’mts: Bachelor’s or foreign equiv in Actuarial Science, Math, or rel field & 6 yrs exp in job offered or rel occupation: analyzing complex actuarial assumptions in accordance w/prof’l Actuarial Standards of Practice (“ASOP”) for Longevity or Life Insurance by utilizing Annuities, Term Life & Whole Life products; ensuring compliance w/US & Canadian insurance laws, regulations & actuarial guidelines; utilizing Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables & work w/actuarial formulas & datasets to design bus. strategies; & interacting & negotiating w/key client reps & consultants. In alternative, employer will accept Master’s or foreign equiv in 1 of above fields & 4 yrs exp in above listed skills.
