Description:
Responsible for establishing strategies to achieve goals focused on risk-based internal audits, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements, and advisory and risk management services, in collaboration with the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer. This position leads a team of auditors around the globe to help ensure MTS has established financial, operational and compliance internal controls that are designed and operating effectively. Audit work follows standards established by the Institute of Internal Auditors. Oversees MTS's compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and required reporting. Provides advisory services to help MTS accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control processes. This scope includes serving as a strategic advisor, identifying risks and efficiency opportunities across the company and supporting key business initiatives. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree 15 years experience, 5 of which are in management positions Led and managed internal audit activities Participation in system implementations and upgrades, advised on risk and internal control recommendations Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP as well as Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, the COSO internal control framework and IAAS standards Preferred Qualifications Degree emphasis in accounting, finance, or IT CPA, CIA or MBA Solid career progression in public accounting or internal audit for mid to large global organization Led compliance audit work Assisted with financial or operations investigations Manufacturing and/or technology industry recblid kxou5tkh2oqbepfezbmulnuos4j0bu BA/BS/Undergraduate
