The City of Dubuque, Iowa invites applications for the position of Library Information Technology Systems Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the operations of the Information Technology (IT) Activity, which includes the Maker Space. The Manager is responsible for supervising and training all personnel engaged in the Activity; analyzing and supervising the administration of the Library's computer systems, networks, security system, technology-based facility systems. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in information systems or relevant field with major course work in computer or management information science; experience working with a diverse workforce; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the essential knowledge, skills and abilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to follow a management philosophy that is input oriented and values equity, problem solving and the development of partnerships; and a desire to be part of an organization that values service, people, integrity, responsibility, innovation and teamwork. The City offers an annual salary range of $56,492 to $73,860, and an attractive benefit package which includes twelve weeks of paid parental leave.
