UPM Blandin Paper, a member of the UPM-Kymmene Group and a leader in coated publication paper production, seeks an Automation Maintenance Craftsmen to perform daily troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of mill automation equipment to support mill maintenance and operations.To qualify, you must have a State of Minnesota Class A Journeyman Electrician certificate with a two-year technical school degree or a two year technical school degree in Process Control/Instrumentation or equivalent (license if applicable) and experience working in an industrial environment. You must have safe work practices.Preferred candidates will have troubleshooting skills/knowledge in one or more of the following: print reading and interpretation, PLC/HMI programming, VFD operation/configuration, process control instrumentation, power distribution equipment, electrical experience. All applicants must have computer proficiency with MS Office software and demonstrate written and verbal communications effectively. Our selected candidate will be a flexible, approachable team player with a "can-do" attitude, and possess strong abilities to prioritize and coordinate the work agenda. Papermill experience is a plus. UPM Blandin Paper offers competitive compensation with full company benefits, as well as, a desirable four-day, ten-hour schedule.
