Amish Home Furnishings is seeking a furniture sales and design consultant for our Holly Hill store. This candidate will be responsible for providing customers with assistance in our two showrooms, on the phone and email, answering questions, and offering suggestions based on the individual needs of the client. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude and dedication to providing superior customer service. Desired qualifications include experience in retail sales as well as a general awareness of home decor styles. Experience in the home furnishing industry is preferred. This is a great position for someone who is looking to join a rapidly growing company.Duties Include: Assisting customers in fining the right products to meet their needs. Answering questions with regards to products and services such as materials used, dimensions, shipping times, and company policies. Working actively to continually improve your sales knowledge.Requirements:Computer Literacy: Proficient in web navigation, email, and social media.Personable: Friendly, outgoing attitude with ability to gain rapport with prospective clients.Strong verbal communication skills: Clear English-speaking voice. Excellent written communication skills (spelling, grammar, and punctuation). Positive attitude. High school diploma minimum. Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.Preferred Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills: Self-starter, with ability to work well with others using tact and diplomacy. Ability to effectively multi-task many responsibilities and projects. Must possess great communication and interpersonal skills- an approachable, engaging personality with high energy and a positive attitude. Must be able to learn, retain, and demonstrate extensive product knowledge and have a creative flare for matching customer needs with our product selections. Computer proficiency including email and ability to learn point of sale systems and new technology. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Work Environment: Hours: Office setting Casual/professional attire.
