Staff Nurse Positions Require : Current NYS Registered Nurse License, BSN preferred. Possess American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or completion within six (6) months of hire. Float Pool One (1) year acute hospital experience preferred. Obstetrics Possess six (6) months to one (1) year of post- graduation nursing and L&D experience. Completion of any specialty education programs that would enrich knowledge base of specialty. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, NCC Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), CLC certification, completion of Childbirth Educator Program preferred. Special Care Unit Current Certification through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses as a CCRN preferred. Must possess one (1) year of medical/surgical, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), or emergency clinical experience. Completion of Telemetry Rhythm Course and Completion of Critical Care Essentials Course preferred or completion within the first year of employment. Operating Room CNOR, PALS or PEARS preferred. Completion of any specialty education programs that would enrich knowledge base of specialty. Must possess six (6) months of current Operating Room experience. Recovery Room PALS or PEARS certification preferred. Must possess one (1) year post graduation Medical/Surgical experience or Critical Care experience. Medical/Surgical Possess one (1) year of medical/surgical experience preferred. May 2020 Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply.
