The ideal candidate will possess a technical degree and demonstrate a strong aptitude for handling cases in biology, chemistry, physical sciences, engineering, or related fields. The successful candidate should have outstanding academic credentials, patent litigation experience, and exceptional written and oral communication skills.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Assist in the preparation and execution of litigation strategies.Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies.Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as necessary.Provide legal counsel on intellectual property issues to clients.Requirements:1-6 years of experience in intellectual property litigation.Law firm experience preferred.Technical degree in biology, chemistry, physical sciences, engineering, or related fields.Superior written and oral communication skills.Admitted to practice law and in good standing in IL.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Illinois State Bar.Skills:Strong legal research and analytical skills.Proficient in drafting legal documents.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in legal work.Job Location: Chicago, IL Lauded as an excellent firm for which to work, this firm has been cited as a top firm for minority and diversity hiring.
