The ideal candidate will have a technical degree and a strong background in handling cases related to biology, chemistry, physical sciences, engineering, or related fields. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the firm's Intellectual Property practice, demonstrating excellent academic credentials, patent litigation expertise, and exceptional written and oral communication skills.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis to support patent litigation cases.Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Collaborate with senior attorneys in case strategy development and implementation.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends in intellectual property.Requirements:1-6 years of experience in Intellectual Property litigation.Technical degree preferred, with a background in biology, chemistry, physical sciences, engineering, or related fields.Strong aptitude for working on cases within the specified technical areas.Outstanding academic credentials and a proven record of success in patent litigation.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Admission to practice law and good standing with the State Bar of California.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Technical degree in biology, chemistry, physical sciences, engineering, or related fields preferred.Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of California.Skills:Legal research and analysis.Drafting and preparation of legal documents.Case strategy development and implementation.Effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.Courtroom presence and attendance at legal proceedings.Stay informed on intellectual property laws, regulations, and industry trends.
