Description:
The Project Engineer is responsible for managing all product builds for Sierra CP U.S. operations. This includes coordinating with the Cincinnati Test Systems team that is responsible for supporting purchasing, assembly, and Sierra CP U.S. operations. Responsibilities: Ensure bill of materials are established correctly in EPICOR and maintained for any product changes. Ensure that parts and drawings are established and maintained for changes and new option content. Manage any changes in scope after purchase orders are issued from customers and ensure that engineering changes notices (ECN) are executed. Coordinate with sales, purchasing, assembly, Sierra CP management and customers to ensure on time delivery and customer satisfaction. Suggest improvements that can be made to increase sales and safety and reduce product and warranty costs. Represent the company in recurring meetings with customer TSI which has an exclusive technology agreement with Sierra CP related to the mini-diluter product line. Lead weekly production meetings to review status of long-lead parts on each order and ensure assembly capacity is available. Liaison with colleagues in the Sierra CP U.K. office regarding technical specifications and requirements of Sierra CP products. Participate in regular process improvement meetings, coordinating with purchasing, assembly and global engineering teams Visit customer sites on occasion to support sales teams to discuss potential projects Visit customer sites on occasion to support the service teams with technical issues. Desired Skills and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; 2-5 years of relevant engineering experience Equipment design experience; mechanical and/or controls Strong communication skills; verbal, written and listening Job Posted by ApplicantPro
