Southlake Orthopaedics has an opening for a full-time Certified Medical Assistant at our busy and very fast paced orthopaedic clinic. Job Summary Assist in clinical procedures under supervision of physician or physician assistant Assist physician and physician assistant in exam rooms All other duties as assigned by clinical coordinator or practice administrator Exceptional customer service Escort patients to exam rooms, interviews patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patient's chart Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filed is available in patients' medical records prior to their appointment Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required Qualifications and Skills Medical Assistant certification required The ability to perform phlebotomy and administer injections required Knowledge of EHRs, preferably Greenway PrimeSuite As a member of the Southlake team you can expect: Generous Paid Time Off based on years of service Health & Welfare benefits starting the first of the month following your date of hire: BCBS Medical Dental Vision Company paid Life Insurance Voluntary Life, Accident, Cancer, and Critical Illness coverage Employee Assistance Program 401(k) plan after one year of employment Referral Bonus program Monday - Friday schedule for most roles Job Posted by ApplicantPro
