Description:
Required Skills and Responsibilities End to End Systems and Electrical Engineering and Design Experience in installation and modification of aircraft-related systems and equipment. Duties include development, and creation of technical data packages to include; electrical-avionics systems drawings, electromagnetic interference and radio frequency interference (EMI / RFI) test procedures/reports, ground test procedures/reports, project-specific certification plans (PSCP), regulatory compliance checklists, system installation evaluations (SIE), bill of materials (BOM). Knowledge of and ability to review and provide feedback on instructions for continued airworthiness (ICA), and the above-referenced documents. Experience with FAA STC development process is requested. Working knowledge of FAA Title 14 Regulations and Requirements is requested. Provide engineering overview, check, and approval of engineering drawings from the points of view of, technical completeness, clarity, conformance with standards, dimensional accuracy, and the correct specification of materials and processes. Authoring and processing engineering change notices (ECN) Qualification, Acceptance, and Performance Testing Be willing to travel and support installation and testing of systems: (i.e., first-time installations, ground, and EMI / RFI testing). Be able to multi-task and support various projects as assigned. Collaborate with internal and external systems engineers. Must be a U.S. citizen. Preferred Skills Computer-Aided Design and Drafting Creation of new drawings, using SolidWorks, Creo (Pro E), AutoCAD Program & Project Management Manage internal and external engineering projects and programs. Good communication skills. Ability to interface with external clients. Subcontract and Procurement Management Assist in the development of project bids and quoting. Review and tracking of contract Statements of Work (SOW). Project review of required Bill of Materials (BOM), be able to work with vendors and suppliers to communicate project needs, initiate parts ordering process, and track status of items for on-time delivery. Technical support for existing projects and customer requests/inquiries. Equipment Modifications and Assembly Hands-on technical experience with general hand tools and standard aviation test equipment. Functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair experience of aircraft systems is desired. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
