DAY-TO-DAY As a Nonprofit Social Worker, your job is to provide all the necessary case management services to our clients within a specific timeframe. This includes documenting evaluations, assessments, progress, services, financial data, and other relevant information for each individual's records. We believe in empowering our clients and promoting independent living and community integration. Leveraging your psychology and counseling skills, you help them make informed decisions about important aspects of their lives, like housing, employment, relationships, education, and personal goals. You also get to meet with clients regularly and ensure their actions align with their individual service plans. You work with direct service agencies in the community to enhance service delivery and help clients achieve their goals. In emergency situations, you're there to respond to phone calls and make sure clients have access to case management services. You also complete monthly reports and billing forms and stay up-to-date with community resources. Your role is essential to our team, and you find it rewarding to help clients improve their lives! REQUIREMENTS FOR A NONPROFIT SOCIAL WORKER As a Nonprofit Social Worker, you need the following: Licensed Social Worker in the state of Texas OR master's degree in human services, drug and alcohol, education, counseling, psychology, or criminal justice 2+ years of documentable experience providing services to children or adults with disabilities Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook OR the ability to learn independently Ability to perform basic math computations at a 6th-grade level minimum Ability to travel through north Texas to visit clients Valid driver's license and proof of insurance Covid-19 vaccination Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
