We have an opening for a Physical Therapist to work with the individuals living at PBI's numerous locations. FLEXIBLE HOURS POSSIBLE 10-30 HOURS PER WEEK COMPETETIVE PAY The Physical Therapist is to provide consultative and direct physical therapy services per physician's orders to individuals with severe to profound physical and intellectual disabilities. Assist with creating specialized programs; reviewing progress; developing the program's procedures; and implementing physical therapy services as outlined in the individualized service plans [ISP's] with the goal of enhancing the performance of the individual, including improving flexibility, function, sensory-motor skills and mobility. Responsibilities include: Direct Therapy with Individuals Consultation with Staff, PM and Nurse Annual ISP Evaluation with objectives Monthly Notes PT-Wheelchair/equipment recommendations/evaluations Job Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Two years of PT experience working with persons with mental, physical, and developmental disabilities ( rehabilitation experience preferred with knowledge on wheelchair assessment and positioning) Learn more about the Pony Bird team at www.ponybird.org/news Pony Bird, Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer
