Are you a current High School or College undergrad student interested in completing an event planning internship with Peoria Zoo and Luthy Botanical Garden? Apply online today. PAY RATE: $15.00 PER HOUR (HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL); $17.00 PER HOUR (COLLEGE UNDERGRAD LEVEL) We are one park district, one community. Assist in the operation of events at Peoria Zoo and Luthy Botanical Garden including the setup and teardown of the events. Assist in maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of all designated areas of the event space. Assist full time staff with routine duties during the course of an event. Follow all Peoria Park District rules, policies, and procedures. Follow all safety procedures that pertain to the duties performed and support all aspects of the Peoria Park District's safety program. Perform all other duties as assigned. Please note, this internship is funded through June 2023 due to a grant from the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority. It is open to applicants who are current/active High School or Undergrad College Students. Maximum of 15 hours per week for High School level; 20 hours per week for College undergrad level.
