The HVAC Service Technician/Installer is responsible for service, maintenance, repair, installation, and inspections on residential HVAC equipment in a commercial setting. Successful candidates will have: 5 plus years experience in residential and commercial HVAC service, maintenance or installation Thorough knowledge and experience of hydronic heating systems including boilers and controls Valid driver's license Thorough knowledge of HVAC local, state and national codes 2nd class boiler operators license (or able to obtain) Universal refrigeration license (or able to obtain) Clean background and DMV record The HVAC Service Technician will serve the Minneapolis/ St. Paul area. You may drive your company-provided vehicle home daily. Our work is considered commercial, however, it is important to have good people skills as you will be working alongside residents of the properties. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The job duties listed are typical examples of the work performed by positions in this job classification. Not all duties assigned to every position are included, nor is it expected that all positions will be assigned every duty. Paid emergency on call required every 4 weeks Operate, maintain, and repair of residential and commercial heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems as assigned via daily service tickets and repair requests Operational knowledge of chillers, cooling towers, heat pumps, gas fired boilers, hydronic heating systems, building automation controls, fire pumps and emergency generators Conduct equipment readings that are critical for operations, efficient performance, maintenance history and reporting Perform inspections and preventative equipment maintenance as scheduled Job Posted by ApplicantPro
