This position requires a l icense with the State of Nebraska as a License Practical Nurse or certifications as a Certified Occupational Therapist (COTA) or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). We provide seniors with Long Term Care , Short Term Rehabilitation and Memory Care with supportive healthcare services. What We Need From You As a Restorative Nurse/Wellness Director, you'll oversee and perform a critical role in providing a resident-specific restorative program designed by the rehab disciplines to promote the highest level of functioning in the residents activities of daily living (ADL)and mobility. You will be responsible for the leading and assisting residents in range of motion exercises, daily activities including bed activities, sitting, transferring, standing stair climbing, walking, bathing and grooming etc. You will review, track and document residents progress notes, care plans and other reports. You will direct and supervise staff. May help with resident care on occasion while performing restorative nursing tasks. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing - License as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Nebraska or current compact state or certified as Occupational Physical Therapy Assistant or Physical Therapy Assistant r equired. Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing, wellness or restorative required. Long Term Care experience preferred; Ability to demonstrate positive attitude, patience, emotional maturity to effectively communicate and interact with residents, families and co-workers. Requires strong critical thinking skills, independent judgment, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments. Must comply with CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid) directive which requires proof of full Covid 19 vaccination prior to start date or request an exemption, and if approved, wear proper PPE while on duty as per policy.
