Responsibilities : Understand basic principals of steam processes. Monitor, document and troubleshoot boiler, turbine, chemical pump and steam system operations. Keep accurate log sheets and records. Operate, trouble shoot and perform maintenance on equipment. Perform chemical testing and treatment of boiler water. Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on all equipment. Read and understand technical literature, drawings, gauges, instruments etc. Keeps accurate log sheets and records. Replenish fluids and chemicals for chemical pump and turbine systems.
