Field Equipment Mechanic Location: Franklin Yard- Denver, CO Area: Transportation/Shop Wage Range: $25-40 per hour depending on experience Requirements:- Self motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and little direction- Be on time to work as agreed upon- Must have heavy equipment experience on CAT, Volvo, Komatsu, Etc- Proficient with electrical and hydraulic schematics- Proficient with diagnosing engines, electrical, drivetrain, and hydraulics first time- Proficient with repairing engines, electrical, drivetrain, and hydraulic systems- Attention and commitment to safety- Understands crane operation and rigging for removing components- Maintains truck and crane inspections- Maintains service vehicle in good working order.- Other duties as assigned- Ability to work outside in hot and cold weather, rain and snow- Basic welding and oxy cutting skills- Must have own toolsCompetencies:- Able to lift heavy objects- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel- Data entry, telephone, organizational and communication skills- Will travel if needed for short periods of time- Must be at least 18 years of age IHC Scott Is An Equal Employment/Affirmative Action Employer Job Posted by ApplicantPro
