Overview: Headquarters, Air Combat Command (ACC), Directorate of Operations (A3), Flight Operations Division (A3T) at Langley Air Force Base, VA is responsible for the combat readiness and training of the Combat Air Forces (CAF). ACC/A3T provides the operational expertise required to meet current and future needs of the CAF by developing, coordinating, and publishing command guidance for all aspects of CAF fighter aircrew training. Requirements: Secret Clearance Job Summary: Provide system requirement analysis and definition, programming, program execution, systems analysis, technical expertise, data management, resource management, and program implementation consultation support. Education and Experience: Seven years' HAF/MAJCOM experience in Air Force Program/Project Management Five years' experience in United States Air Force Weapons School (USAFWS) programs and working with Air Reserve Component, Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and foreign countries Five years' experience with the Manpower MPA Man-Day Management System (M45) and Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System (DEAMS) Five years' experience in fiscal planning/forecasting for Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Fiscal Year Defense Plan (FYDP) and joint Strategic Planning systems Essential Duties: Support efforts to project and manage annual Adversary training assets, budget and requirements for all 26 squadrons of the United States Air Force Weapons School (USAFWS). Maintain awareness; effectively project; and efficiently track funding to ensure sufficient availability and balance of assets with operational/training requirements while ensuring future weapons officers are provided the resources needed for realistic training for the CAF and ensures optimum combat capability for USAF and DoD assets. This will include coordinating with all appropriate staff offices; MAJCOMs; COCOMs; etc. to effectively develop required planning and programming documents. Support government efforts to prepare detailed plans, budgets, and schedules for the USAFWS programs to enable integration of requirements to annual fiscal programs (i.e., POM). Provide support to manage the A3TW Manday Program utilizing the Manpower MPA Manday Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing, in person and through technological mediums such as email, videoconferencing, and by telephone. Working understanding of common Microsoft Office suite programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Excellent organizational and prioritization skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to complete the essential duties of the position Ability to work virtually using common technological mediums such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom Position is contingent upon award of contract to VectorCSP.
