Overview: Headquarters, Air Combat Command (ACC), Directorate of Operations (A3), Flight Operations Division (A3T) at Langley Air Force Base, VA is responsible for the combat readiness and training of the Combat Air Forces (CAF). ACC/A3T provides the operational expertise required to meet current and future needs of the CAF by developing, coordinating, and publishing command guidance for all aspects of CAF fighter aircrew training. Requirements: Secret Clearance Job Summary: This position will support the mission of F-35 5th Generation Operational Tactics development by providing training system expertise, development, and support. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (Master's Degree preferred) Two year's F-22 or F-35 flight experience within the past five years Five years of direct 5th Generation Fighter program experience (desired) USAF Weapons Instructor Course (WIC) graduate (WIC instructor desired) or at least 2 years Developmental or Operational test experience Essential Duties: Provide expertise necessary to support MAJCOM staff level functions to include incorporating COCOM requirements into training programs and updating required documents; F-35 total force integration issues; assist with unit manning requirements analysis; advise and coordinate on training and readiness taskings. Provide expertise necessary to support F-35 Partner Nations and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) operations and training. This includes actions as foreign tactics manual development, assisting SAF/IA with foreign disclosure activities, and supporting foreign CONUS operations and training activities. Support development and coordination of Live Virtual Constructive training requirements; weapons and tactics planning. Provide expertise in the development and documentation of 5th Generation Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and assist and provide tactical expertise developing and fielding 5th Generation fighter training range requirements. Provide expertise for CAF syllabi development and coordinate exercise participation to maximize training opportunities for the entire F-35 enterprise. Provide expertise necessary to support F-35 Site Survey and Programing Plan Site Activation and serve as CAF operations focal point for assessing and facilitating permanent new mission basing/beddown proposals. Provide support development of the USAF F-15 Life Cycle Beddown Plan and assist in the development of F-35 operational basing and beddown requirements to include Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) system requirements and integration. Provide support development of F-35 Joint Technical Documents (JTD), and support development F-35 Training Management System (TMS). Provide support for F-35 and 5th Generation Working Groups, developmental and operational testing activities and safety efforts as required. Have expertise necessary to support planning, programming, and budgeting actions and support requirements generation development and coordination via the JCIDS process necessary to enable CAF operational readiness Knowledge, Skill and Abilities: Eligible for and maintain access to SAP-level program clearance. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing, in person and through technological mediums such as email, videoconferencing, and by telephone. Working understanding of common Microsoft Office suite programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Excellent organizational and prioritization skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to complete the essential duties of the position Ability to work virtually using common technological mediums such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom Position is contingent upon award of contract to VectorCSP.
