Adjunct Voice Instructor

The Carthage College Department of Music invites applications for an adjunct instructor of applied voice. This is a part-time, non-benefits eligible position. It will begin Fall 2023. Applied voice instructors at Carthage provide lessons to undergraduate music majors and minors, as well as to other interested students who sing in choral ensembles. There may be potential to teach graduate students in the Carthage master of music program if the candidate holds the appropriate terminal degree. Required Qualifications: M.M. in a voice area required; doctorate needed to teach at the graduate level. Experience with classical as well as music theatre and contemporary styles is desired. Deadline: Screening will begin April 2023 and continue until the position is filled.
