Logan River Academy in Logan UT is seeking to fill FT Summer Maintenance Assistant position. This position offers wage of $14.00 to $15.00 an hour based on experience. Full time employees are eligible for PTO, Benefits, and all employees eligible for 401k plan. Typically M-F from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, so additional hours available. This position can be just for Summer or they may be able to be PT during the school year. About Logan River Academy Logan River Academy is a residential treatment center and fully accredited school for adolescent youth form ages 12-18. We help students struggling with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues including: autism spectrum disorders, adoption issues, anxiety, oppositional behavior, bipolar disorder, borderline issues, PTSD, substance abuse, depression, ADHD, impulse control, peer pressure, anger management, self-esteem, grief/loss issues, family relationships, communication, and academic struggles. Duties and Responsibilities Receives work orders verbally, in writing, or email from team leadership and follows through as instructed. Assists the facilities team with routine maintenance activities including: Minor electrical, carpentry, and plumbing repairs. Replaces worn or defective parts as instructed. Prepares or patches surfaces for painting, and paints interior or external walls and trim. Assists other departments with furniture moves and unloading. Assists in inspecting buildings and facilities for repairs and general maintenance. Assists in fire inspections and other inspections as needed Assists with grounds keeping activities including: Operates snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks. Qualifications Must 20 yrs old or older Possess a current driver license and good driving record Able to successfully pass criminal background check
