OVERVIEW The Dessert Coordinator works efficiently to maintain customer relations and process all orders through necessary administrative systems. This is a full time position. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES The Dessert Coordinator will be responsible for engaging customers and potential customers in the community, ensuring excellent customer service and quality of work to maintain lasting customer relations. Answering all incoming phone calls and emails Taking custom cake orders, quoting, answering questions and guiding customers in their dessert and cake decisions Working directly with Senior Cake Designers to give customers accurate design information and pricing Input of customer orders and invoices into invoice system and Google Drive logs Unpacking and stocking packaging supplies Packaging cake and dessert orders Carrying out orders and receiving payment Photographing completed cakes Opening and closing the front of the store, wiping off tables, stocking supplies, etc. Managing the front counter and ringing up customers Checking orders for accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction QUALIFICATIONS Excellent customer service and interpersonal verbal and written communication skills Excellent communications, relationship building and interpersonal skills Working experience in customer service Attention to detail and organization to ensure accuracy with each client Must have good time management skills and the ability to multi-task with a calm demeanor Ability to translate ideas into designs Problem-solving aptitude Eagerness to learn and a heart for hospitality High energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for our products and core values Knowledge of Nashville Sweets brand and mission QUALIFICATIONS 2 years minimum combined working experience -1 year minimum working experience in customer service1 year minimum administrative working experience SCHEDULE Tuesday - Friday 10:30a-6:30p Saturday 8:30a-2:30p Job Type: Full-timeBenefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching On-the-job training Paid time off Shift: Day shift Weekly day range: Weekend availability Work setting: In-person Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Customer service: 1 year (Preferred) Administrative: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
