Chemical Line Operator - 12 hour rotating shifts - Nights Position: Full time . Responsibilities: Adjusts controls to regulate temperature, pressure, feed, and flow of dry and liquid chemicals, and times of prescribed reactions, according to knowledge of equipment and processes. Monitors gauges, recording instruments, or products to ensure that specified conditions are maintained. Inspects equipment or units to detect leaks and malfunctions, shutting equipment down if necessary. Cleans, assembles, and makes minor repairs to machinery and equipment using hand tools. Retrieves, measures, and adds raw materials to reaction tanks according to product specifications. Manages in-process hopper transfers. Palletizes finished packaged items or packs items in cartons or containers. Operates hand truck or fork lift. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet our rigorous quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Work with a team of passionate individuals who are dedicated to excellence Qualifications: Chemical mixing and blending production experience High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus for extended periods of time Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow in the world of chemistry Ability to: Work in extreme cold and hot (120 F) environment Comprehend oral and written English instruction Lift 55 pounds and drive fork truck in safe and efficient manner Follow established policies and procedures Operate and maintain chemical processing equipment Exhibit manual dexterity, perceptual speed and extent flexibility Adopt to rapidly changing priorities based on business needs Pass pre-employment physical with drug screen and physical capabilities test
