Rally Camps is looking for an Operations Assistant to help us with day to day camp operations this summer at one of our camp locations in Danville. This is a seasonal position that begins no later than June 5th and ends August 18, 2023. More details about Rally: Rally is building a leading sports, recreation, and educational organization that empowers growth, confidence, and transformative experiences for our campers and team members through our award-winning summer camp and sports programs. Responsibilities: Unload tents, tables and tablecloths daily. Fill/refill water coolers and place them on the fields. Prepare equipment for early care and after care. Prepare supplies and ice packs for site EMT. Set up and break down car lines (Place signicades, road cones, and stop/slow signs in appropriate locations). Assist Vendors with setup & breakdown of onsite activities Help load buses for field trips Support director during midday pickup by ensuring all campers are present at the correct time for when parents arrive Be present at front desk to direct late arriving campers and bring any questions to the attention of the director On field trip days, assist with loading and unloading of necessary equipment, lunches, safety supplies needed. Oversee cleanup and breakdown of lunch area Perform duties as assigned by site director Qualifications: Willing to hustle and get your hands dirty Efficiency and accountability Interest in the sports + recreation industry Availability from June 19th- July 21st, 2023 to work in person in Danville Availability to work Monday through Friday, 30-40 hours per week Have reliable transportation to get to and from the campsite Be able to work in outdoor conditions during summer months, and lift, carry and transport up to 50 pounds Benefits: Work outdoors in sunny Danville with fun like minded colleagues Catered lunch on Fridays!
