The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity for African Americans and others throughout the region in securing economic self-reliance, social equality, and civil rights, is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others to work as a Program Coordinator to support the Division of Public Safety and Community Response. The Program Coordinator will: Coordinate weekly implementation meetings with team members Compile data and interpret information for the submission of program reports Partner with the Divisional Director and Vice President of the Division of Public Safety on programmatic goals Develop a plan of action for site improvements as needed Management the Community Mobilization outreach Coordinate the efforts to distribute information for Narcan and other public health disparities. Faith-based leadership liaison Possess a valid driver's license Qualifications Knowledge and abilities are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Proven management experience Proven community organizing abilities Proven ability to document programmatic activities Experience and/or training in crisis intervention and staff supervision Valid Missouri driver's license, insurance, and good driving record We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
