The City of Junction City is currently recruiting to fill 14 Seasonal Lifeguard positions at Max Strauss Swimming Pool. The pool is expected to open the first weekend of July and positions must be filled in June. First round of applications are due April 28, 2023. The City is excited to assist applicants with obtaining the Lifeguard Certification during the application process. This position is seasonal and hours are flexible, with a wage range of $14.75 - $16.45. Range adjustment will increase as of July 1, 2023, based on council approval, to $15.12-$17.02. All applicants must be 15 years of age or older, American Red Cross Lifeguard Certified, able to swim 300 continuous yards, and complete a timed physical challenge.
